The Geissens really like lying on the beach and enjoying a delicious luxury meal. But when the bill is presented, apparently even Papa Robert is amazed.
-
“What was the most expensive bill you’ve ever received for lunch?” Davina Geiss wants to know from her parents in a new podcast episode.
-
The answer: a whopping 8,000 francs!
-
Robert (58) and Carmen Geiss (56) paid for food in a beach club in Dubai.
-
However, the millionaires were initially unable to settle the bill because the credit card was not accepted.
In their latest podcast episode, the Geiss family talks regarding a family vacation on the beach. The millionaire’s daughters Shania (17) and Davina (18) are immediately enthusiastic regarding the topic of beach clubs – and also have a few questions ready for their parents. “What’s the most expensive lunch bill you’ve ever received?” Davina asks. When Robert Geiss (58) remembered the bill, he suddenly stopped laughing.
It apparently dawned on the 58-year-old immediately and he talked regarding a particularly exclusive beach club in Dubai. “I think we had to shell out 50,000 francs for that,” Robert recalls. That’s the equivalent of around 8,000 francs. “That was tough. That was hard, »says Carmen Geiss (56), who apparently has not been able to forget the sum to this day. But what did it cost so much money?
creditcard not accepted
The couple had a particularly good time and ordered “lobster spaghetti, seafood spaghetti and burrata” in the exclusive club, accompanied by a fine bottle of red wine. But the order quickly became their undoing.
The Geissens might not pay the bill for the time being, as they reveal in the podcast. The millionaires had to pay in cash, especially since their credit card was not accepted. So they first had to “collect” their cash before they might finally pay the expensive bill.
