The GeForce RTX 4080 would follow in September and then the GeForce RTX 4070 in October.
This month of June begins with new information concerning the GeForce RTX 4000 – as often from VideoCardz. Our colleague claims to have had confirmation from several AIB sources of launch dates and specifications for three references: GeForce RTX 4090, GeForce RTX 4080 and GeForce RTX 4070.
We’ll get to the specs later. Let’s first look at the launch periods. The VideoCardz article lists August for the GeForce RTX 4090. The GeForce RTX 4080 would follow a month later, and the GeForce RTX 4070 another month later, leading into October. However, VideoCardz sources reveal that there are quite a few GeForce RTX 3000 stocks to sell; the arrival of the new generation might be impacted by this fact.
The GeForce GTX 1630 will arrive 15 days late
12 GB of GDDR6 for the RTX 4070
As for the specifications, they correspond to those unveiled in mid-May. The GeForce RTX 4090 seems set to have 16,128 CUDA cores rather than the 18,432 cores mentioned several times in the past. As for VRAM, this benchmark would inherit 24GB of GDDR6X. The GeForce RTX 4080 would have 16 GB of GDDR6X and finally the RTX 4070, 12 Go de GDDR6.
In the table below, data marked with an asterisk has been confirmed by at least two sources.
