The famous game Twister gets a taste of the game with Twister Air, a version signed Hasbro, which gives pride of place to augmented reality.
The principle remains more or less the same, namely contorting oneself in order to place one’s feet and hands on colored circles. But in this version, the colored carpet is replaced by a screen, and your position will be analyzed thanks to bracelets, to be placed on your wrists and your ankles.
Each player will therefore have to gesticulate in front of their screen, rather than adopting complicated or awkward positions, as was the case on the original Twister. We don’t know if the games will be as fun, but Hasbro is confident, as Adam Biehl, General Manager of Hasbo Gaming explains: “This new version of Twister takes advantage of augmented reality to modernize the classic game of Twister that originated in the 1960s, and is sure to give players of all ages an exciting new, music-inspired experience they will remember for a long time. .”
