Microids and Oddworld Inhabitants announce via an official press release that Oddworld: Soulstorm will also be released on Nintendo Switch. Available for a while now on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, the game will offer the same gameplay as the other versions but taking into account the specificities of the hybrid console, hence the name “Oddtimized Edition”. Nevertheless, we would like to have more details on the subject, the release date not being mentioned either.
We are still underlined the presence of two special editions. First there is the Limited Oddition which includes the game in an exclusive metal case including 24 cartridge slots, as well as 3 lithographs.
As for the Collector Oddition, it contains:
- A collector’s box
- The standard edition of the game for Nintendo Switch
- An exclusive metal case including 24 cartridge slots
- A 22 cm silver figurine of Abe, Mudokon hero in spite of himself
- A 160-page premium artbook produced in partnership with Les Éditions Pix’n Love
- A unique key ring
- Three lithographs
- A sheet of Tribal Alphabet stickers
- A temporary tattoo imitating that of Abe’s hand
