A person who had become unwell at the Cinéma Aventure in the Galerie du Center in Brussels was taken to hospital, the Brussels firefighters said on Tuesday evening at the end of their intervention. The cinema was evacuated on Tuesday evening because several people were not feeling well. They complained of mild respiratory and eye irritation. Firefighters arrived on the scene with medical teams along with the Hazmat emergency response service. They eventually took one person to the hospital. According to fire department spokesman Walter Derieuw, it was a person who already had a medical history.
The cause of the irritation is not yet known.
