The G7 economic portal will be added to Gazdrovat Kft., founded by the managers of Telex. The goal of the Telex strategy is portalization, and the current step is also an important part of this process.
The economic-focused portal was launched in 2017 with the aim of reporting on macroeconomic, economic policy, corporate and other financial market topics in an understandable form. It was an important aspect for the founders that the newspaper contribute to the public discourse independently, sometimes by presenting completely opposite perspectives.
The goal of the owners of G7 is to maintain the assumed mission of the economic portal, in addition to a sustainable operation, in which Gazdrovat Kft., founded by the managers of Telex (András Kárpáti, Márton Kárpáti, András Pusztay), sees an opportunity.
Through the acquisition, the key people and assets of the economic side will be transferred to the company.
The goal of the new owners is for G7 to remain a premium economic portal, but to receive all the support and opportunities that will allow it to reach many more readers than it currently does.
G7 will continue to operate as an independent editorial office, but will also work closely with Telex. The paper will be free for readers, and will be run primarily on advertising revenue, which will be managed by the Telex Sales team.
