With Italy’s triumph in the Davis Cup in Malaga at the end of November, the last big tennis highlight of 2023 took place. The break for the professionals is a short one as usual – the next season starts with the United Cup in Sydney and Perth on December 29th. But what can tennis fans expect from 2024? Will Novak Djokovic perhaps even achieve the Golden Slam, i.e. victory in all four Grand Slams plus Olympic gold? And will young star Coco Gauff climb to the top of the world rankings for women? Questions that cannot be answered now. What is certain, however, is that some stars will return to the tennis stage next year.
