Representatives of the Kaliningrad plant Avtotor talked regarding plans for next year. As part of the Special Investment Contract (SPIC), the company plans to launch seven new plants at once, which will produce electric vehicles and auto components. The production program will also include robotics, electric motors, batteries, inverters, exhaust systems, driver assistance systems, bumpers, seats, plastic components and much more. Non-ferrous casting and machining will be organized at a separate production site. In total, within the framework of the current SPIC, the total investment for the implementation of the announced plans will amount to at least 32 billion rubles over ten years.

Apparently, the restyling of the coupe-like model will be carried out in the same vein as the modernization of the original Teramont crossover. for the Chinese market: in the photos you can see the new LED headlights and a revised body kit (including the R-Line version, as in the pictures), but the taillights will acquire a completely original look. The new Land Cruiser Matt Black Edition (the Prado prefix is not used in local markets due to the lack of an older model) is distinguished by a standard set of external improvements – these are black 18-inch wheels and dark decor that affected the optics, radiator grille, side mirror housings, roof rails on roof and steps on the thresholds. Inside, the only difference from the standard model is the two-tone leather upholstery. Sales of special SUVs in Europe will begin towards the end of the year, and it is possible that the new special version will be a farewell to the Old World – the debut of the next generation SUV is just around the corner.
