Ahmad Dhani once more explained regarding his relationship with Once Mekel following the two of them clashed over royalties. Ahmad Dhani requested that Once Mekel pay royalties for frequently singing his Dewa 19 song.
Even so, Ahmad Dhani admitted that there was no problem with his friendship. Ahmad Dhani only questioned business dealings with Once Mekel.
“Look, I and Once are arguing regarding business, it’s just a business,” said Ahmad Dhani when met in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, recently.
Ahmad Dhani emphasized that his friendship with Once Mekel has been going well so far without any problems.
Ahmad Dhani also emphasized that friendship and business matters for him need to be distinguished.
“So if you’re just friends, there’s no problem with making friends. If it’s business, it’s different, it’s only regarding business, no hard feelings,” continued Ahmad Dhani.
Furthermore, Ahmad Dhani emphasized that at this time he had not communicated further with Once Mekel.
“Oh, not yet (chatting with Once Mekel), we’re talking regarding business, so let’s just let it be business,” said Ahmad Dhani casually.
