The funeral of George Wassouf’s son, to the sound of his song “Farewell Day”. The Syrian artist asks not to shoot in his hometown

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The funeral of the body of “Wadih” son of George Wassouf, to the sound of his famous song “Farewell Day”, on Sunday, in addition to the dance of his coffin when he entered the Greek Orthodox Church in Beirut, before he was transferred to Syria to be buried in The birthplace of the Syrian artist in the countryside of Tartous Governorate, western Syria, on Sunday.

Video footage showed the moment the coffin carrying George’s son was moved, while the sound of the famous song might be heard in the background of the scene.

While George Wassouf appeared in a video clip, asking the people of his Syrian town, the infidels, not to fire “a single bullet”, at the funeral of his son to his final resting place in his hometown.

George Wassouf announced the death of his son, on Friday, while it was reported that “Wadih” died following undergoing surgery.

A large number of stars expressed their grief and condolences to the Syrian artist on the passing of his son, who was buried in the town of Kafroun in Syria, where the family graves are.
