The full text of Muhammad Al-Issa’s sermon on the Day of Arafa .. and activists are exchanging excerpts of it amid interaction on Twitter

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Muhammad Al-Issa, delivered a sermon on the Day of Arafa, Friday, amid wide interaction during the past few days between activists on social media regarding his choice to perform the sermon.

The following is the text of Al-Issa’s sermon, according to what was reported by the official Saudi Press Agency:

Praise be to God, the All-Knowing, the All-Knowing (there is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing), (And He is God in the heavens and on the earth, He knows your secrets and your openness, and He knows what you earn) the earth, and neither wet nor dry, but it is in a clear book.)

And I bear witness that there is no god but God who knows the secret and the most hidden, and nothing is hidden from Him on earth or in the heavens (Your God is God, who there is no god but He, He encompasses all things in knowledge), and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, and God described him by His saying (And your knowledge is what you did not know and it was the grace of God). may God bless you and his family, companions and followers, and may the peace and blessings of God be upon you abundantly.

But following the pilgrims of the House of God, and O Muslims in every place, fear God Almighty, you will win, survive, and happy, and last. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful), and he said, linking piety and learning: Worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous * The one who has made you the earth, the earth, and the heavens with the children, and it was descended from the heavens.

And this is the call of all the prophets, as Abraham, peace be upon him, said to his people: (Worship God and fear Him; that is better for you, if you only knew).

The testimony of the monotheism of God along with the testimony of the message of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was the reason for obtaining God’s pleasure and the reason for salvation on the Day of Resurrection. Among the significance of the testimony of the message is the belief of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in his news, obedience to his commands, and the worship of God with what he brought, as He, Glory be to Him, said: (O Prophet, we have sent you He is a witness, a bearer of good tidings, and a warner * a calling to God by His permission and a shining lamp).

The two testimonies were the first pillars of Islam, as the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ((Islam is built on five, testifying that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, establishing prayer, paying zakat, fasting Ramadan, and pilgrimage to the House for those who are able to do so)).

In social solidarity, and contribution to public goods.

Among the pillars is fasting the month of Ramadan, and performing the pilgrimage to the Sacred House of God. The Almighty said: (And to God is the pilgrimage to the House of those who are able to do it).

And God has favored you, O pilgrims, by facilitating the means to perform this obligatory prayer, so be following the guidance of your Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, for he said: ((Take your rituals from me)). And whatever good you do, God knows; and provide it, for the best provision is piety and God-fearing.

As the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, explained the other levels of religion, charity is that you worship God as if you see Him.

O pilgrims of God’s House, and oh Muslims everywhere, I advise you and myself to fear God Almighty, for it is the best provision.

As I command you and myself to accelerate the act of goodness, God Almighty says: (And they will be forgiven to the forgiveness of your Lord and the paradise of its illness, and the Lord, and the Lord,

And know, servants of God, that one of the haste in doing good is to strive to comply with the values of Islam that have shaped the behavior of a Muslim, so they disciplined him in the best manner. The most beloved of you to me and the closest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be the best of you in morals.”

Good manners in the “general description” are a common value among all people, which is valued by the Muslim and others. إذ هي سلوك رشيد في القول والعمل، يقول الله تعالى: (وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا)، ويقول: ( وَلَا تَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡحَسَنَةُ وَلَا ٱلسَّيِّئَةُۚ ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَهُۥ عَدَٰوَةٞ كَأَنَّهُۥ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٞ )، وفي مواجهة الجهل والسفه يقول سبحانه: (خُذِ ٱلۡعَفۡوَ And enjoin goodness, and turn away from the ignorant ones), as the Almighty said: (So be patient, for the promise of God is true.

And the Muslim is “firm, his values” does not pay attention to an ignorant, no purpose, or an obstacle, in favor of the words of God Almighty: (And when they hear the language, they will be exposed to him and said: We will not be blessed with you. The Muslim also knows that arguing with those contributes to the elevation of their memory and the success of their project, which they are happy with, and indeed many of them rely on it, but the dangers of fraud are revealed, just as clear abuse is addressed, and all of this is driven by the wisdom of Islam.

Hajj pilgrims, O Muslims:

One of the values of Islam is to keep away from everything that leads to disharmony, hatred and division, and that mutual affection and compassion prevail in our dealings.

These values are accounted at the forefront of the meanings of holding fast to the rope of God, as the Almighty says: (And hold fast to the rope of God all together, and do not become divided) Unity, brotherhood and cooperation represent the safe fence in preserving the nation’s entity and cohesion, and good dealing with others.

Which testifies to the fact that Islam is an all-encompassing spirit, encompassing in its goodness all humanity, and its noble Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people.”

Therefore, he called Islamic legislation with its humanity, whose standards do not double, and its principles do not change.

Among those values, the light of Islam spread, and it reached the worlds around the globe, where men continued to communicate this goodness who believed what they had pledged to God, and this rational guidance resulted in Mahdist followers, who took the path of Islam.

The well-established scholars also had a blessed influence in assuming the responsibility of the statement, including addressing erroneous and misconceptions regarding Islam.

Hajj pilgrims:

One of the aspects of answering the supplication is your position, O pilgrims. The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, stood in Arafat supplicating to God and reminding Him following he delivered the sermon of Arafat and prayed the Zuhr and Asr prayers combined and shortened with two rak’ahs, azan and two iqaamahs. With serenity and dignity, he prayed three rak’ahs in Muzdalifah, Maghrib and Isha two rak’ahs, and he spent the night there and prayed Fajr in it and sat for the remembrance until it ended very well. Then he went to Mina and threw seven pebbles at Jamarat Al-Aqaba. Then he slaughtered his gift, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. In Mina, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to remember God a lot, and he stoned the Jamarat daily, then he stoned the minor with seven, then the middle one with seven, and then praying to God following that, then throwing Jamarat Al-Aqabah with seven. After he finished his rituals, he walked for farewell before his travels.

O Muslims, seize the opportunity of this great season, the Day of Arafat, on which the Almighty’s saying was revealed: “On the day, I have perfected for you your religion, and I fulfilled upon you.” The fire is from the day of Arafah and that God is to give it off, then the angels boast regarding them)) So more than the supplication, for God has promised you to answer your prayers.

O Allah, accept their rites from the pilgrims, answer their prayers, ease their affairs, forgive their sins, and prepare them for their lands safe and secure, their ranks have risen and their homes are elevated.

Oh God, fix the conditions of the Muslims and a thousand families among them and spread knowledge and goodness in them and fix their offspring and bless them in their livelihood and enter them heaven.

May God guide, guide and help the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his trusted Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and reward them and their government with the best reward for what they have done and present to Islam, Muslims and humanity as a whole, and be with them a supporter and helper, and may God’s prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
