The company stated that a contract was made with the agency “Studio Wali” for , affiliated with Ghada Waly, to create artistic designs for the cultural project at the third Green Line stations, and a legally binding clause was included stating that the company is solely responsible for providing original artistic designs, and in the case of quotation or copies. , it must obtain an official legal approval from the artists in charge of those works authorizing their use, in accordance with what is known and in force with all artists.

Last March, the contract with the company was terminated due to other reasons related to a breach of some terms of the contract and implementation. The National Authority for Tunnels and the company “RATP” Dave Cairo Transportation assert that they were not aware that these designs were illegally inspired by the paintings of a Russian artist, and that they are once morest any infringement of intellectual property rights in any form.
