Launched following the Covid-19 pandemic to promote innovation, industrialization, research and training in key sectors, France 2030 responds to the major challenges of our time through massive investments in strategic sectors, such as health.
Collectively bet on transformation
Led by the General Secretariat for Investment, France 2030 is implemented collectively to be designed and deployed in consultation with economic, academic, local and European stakeholders.
Deployed to respond competitively to the technological and attractiveness challenges of the world to come, France 2030 aims to bring out the future champions of our sectors of excellence (health, energy, automotive, aeronautics, or even space).
Health at the heart of France 2030
The health sector perfectly reflects the ambitions of the France 2030 plan: to create, through research and innovation, French champions capable of raising France to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
Among its 10 major societal objectives, France 2030 aims to produce at least 20 biomedicines in France, particularly once morest cancer and chronic diseases, and to create the medical devices of tomorrow. This Monday, December 11, 2023, 9 challenges were launched by the President of the Republic.
Among them, challenge no. 7 : discover new drugs, bioproducts or products from green chemistry. The objective is to make France the first innovative and sovereign European Nation in terms of health, with a target of producing 20 biomedicines in France by 2030.
