There have been many police crime investigation movies in Malayalam and one of the most heart-warming movies is Pu Anthikad directed by Biju Menon. After the hit film ‘Lucky Star’, Deepu Anthikad’s film is the fourth installment. Biju Menon and Guru Somasundaram are playing the lead roles in the movie and it is made as a crime thriller. The film, which gives moments of excitement and curiosity, is winning the hearts of the audience on the first day itself.
This movie also discusses the problems of drug addiction which is discussed not only in Kerala but the whole world. Produced by Kishore Waryat (USA) for UFI Motion Pictures, Sudheesh Pillai for Lakshmi Nath Creations and Shibu Anthikad for Celebrants, the screenplay of the film is written by Suraj V Dev.
The music is composed by Kailas Menon and the background music is composed by Gopi Sundar to enhance the beautiful flow of the film.
In the film, Biju Menon has portrayed a policeman named Rajeev who tirelessly tries to catch the suspect he is chasing. After the film Minnal Murali, Guru Soma Sundaram is full of villains in the film with excellent acting. The 4th installment gives proper space to all the actors. The film also accurately shows the pains and mental problems experienced by police detectives.
The first day itself is sure that the film, which accurately talks regarding the movements and conditions of the human mind, will make the audience want to watch it once more and once more. The crucial factor in making the film acceptable to the audience is the acting performance of the stars.
