Over the past two decades, several different enemy factions have existed hello. While the Covenant is perhaps the most famous enemy force in the hello, who appear across the entire series, they aren’t the only enemies fans have encountered, and they might not even be the deadliest. Although the player can’t really see what’s going on, they can immediately feel how chaotic and intense the atmosphere is, with the Marines screaming in pain and shouting frantic cries to retreat. The player does not yet know what awaits them below, but they know that it is not friendly. What will happen is one of the most intense missions of the original hellowith the player desperately trying to leave the facility while being hunted by endless hordes of parasitic alien lifeforms known as The Flood, a being capable of reanimating dead bodies the player finds along its path.
Initial flood detection in Combat aura evolved It’s still widely considered one of the most memorable moments in the entire franchise, and one to which the rest of the series has been compared. The Flood then continued to unfold across the original script hello trilogy, and for many fans, her appearance is usually a highlight of the game, adding a compelling sense of horror to an action-packed adventure in space.
