After a slow start at the box office – frustrating the expectations of Warner Bros. itself, The Flash took a few more tumbles during its journey, even being made available in full on Twitter.

Now, the film will also become an NFT.

As disclosed by the official Warner account focused on digital collectibles, the film starring the controversial Ezra Miller will be released next Tuesday, July 18, on the blockchain network. The film marks the one-month anniversary of its release in theaters this weekend.

Presented as “the first release to arrive on the blockchain”, The Flash’s Web3 Experience promises to offer shoppers an immersive experience that will allow them to access multiple digital locations where secret content such as collectibles can be collected in an augmented reality experience.

NFT buyers will also have access to a high-definition version of the film, director’s commentary and behind-the-scenes footage of the work’s production, and a voucher to redeem a DC NFT at the comic book publisher’s digital store.

In general, something very similar to what we are used to seeing in the menus of movies released for the public to watch at home.

For you who are interestedThe Flash Web3 Movie Experience will be announced on July 18th on Warner’s own website. The NFT version of the film will be sold in two different editions, “Premium” and “Mystery” – with copies limited to 2,000 and 10,000 copies respectively.

For those just curious regarding the movie, The Flash is expected to hit streaming services and BluRay over the next few months.
