A few days ago, the launching ceremony of the first China Youth Football League was held at the Huanglong Sports Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, announcing the official launch of the first China Youth Football League.
It is reported that the first China Youth Football League will span four age groups: primary school, junior high school, high school and university (U8-U19), with nearly 1.2 million people and 50,000 teams expected to participate.
Covering 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, a total of 45 competition areas have been established. From the city and county auditions to the regional championships to the national finals, following more than 1,300 national (finals) competitions, the children will accumulate practical experience by constantly fighting with masters of the same age.
In addition, the introduction of a series of reward mechanisms such as honorary recognition, bonus incentives, qualification assessment, and selection and storage will also maximize the potential of young people.
On the basis that the competitive level is guaranteed, the huge potential commercial value of the China Youth Football League cannot be ignored either. The brand of the event is expected to cover nearly 10 million people, and will also reach the communities covered by 10,000 schools and football clubs. There are as many as 45 national competition areas and the uninterrupted New Year’s Eve schedule from September to June of the following year. It will also provide flexible and rich geographical marketing options and free marketing periods covering the whole year.
The league is guided by the Ministry of Education and the General Administration of Sports of the People’s Republic of China and hosted by the Chinese Football Association. The relevant person in charge of the three parties said that the organization of the event is being carried out in an orderly manner, and will actively coordinate the resources of all parties, carry out integrated design and integrated promotion of the event, and strive to make the China Youth Football League a new starting point for the development of China’s youth football.
