LAS VEGAS/ESCHBORN, January 4, 2023: Unlike traditional TVs, where all connections for external devices are located on the back or sides of the TV, the LG OLED TV M3 comes with an external Zero Connect Box , which wirelessly transmits video and audio signals from connected source devices to the 97-inch screen. Since it can also be placed at some distance from the TV, the Zero Connect Box enables free room design – visual distractions from cable bundles in the field of vision are a thing of the past. The box features multiple HDMI ports that are compatible with commonly used players such as cable/satellite TV set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, game consoles and more. In addition, the Zero Connect Box can be easily and conveniently connected to compatible soundbars for richer and fuller sound.
Thanks to the Zero Connect Box, the slim and minimalist one-wall design of the 97-inch TV can unfold its full effect without annoying cable clutter – only a power cable is required for the large OLED display. This ensures maximum freedom in interior design and at the same time facilitates the installation of the OLED TV.
LG’s wireless solution uses the latest technologies to enable reliable video and audio transmission to the LG OLED TV M3 screen. This allows consumers to enjoy content with 4K resolution at 120 Hz and clear, crisp sound without interruption or degradation. In order to ensure the best quality wireless transmission of data from the Zero Connect Box to the television, the company has developed an algorithm to identify the optimal transmission path. The algorithm also helps minimize transmission errors or interruptions because it can detect changes in the immediate environment – such as human or animal movement – and adjust the transmission path accordingly. For maximum signal strength, the Zero Connect Box’s antenna can also be rotated and/or tilted slightly to align with the TV’s location. In addition, the Zero Connect Box integrates LG’s proven voice recognition technology, so consumers can easily and easily operate and manage the LG OLED TV M3 and connected devices with voice commands.
Despite the impressive size of its screen, the LG OLED TV M3 fits perfectly into the interior thanks to its discreet one wall design. Thanks to its integrated, included wall bracket, the M3 hangs flush on the wall and makes the room look like an art gallery – ideal for showcasing the superior picture quality of the OLED TV with self-illuminating pixels.
