Galaxy will lift the veil in a few weeks of new foldable smartphones, but just before their presentation, the first official renderings have already been unveiled of one of the models from all angles.
Our colleagues from 91mobiles have unveiled in advance several official images of Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Flip 4, which will directly succeed the Galaxy Z Flip 3 of 2021. After its technical sheet was unveiled last month, now is the opportunity to discover one of the colors that will be offered with smartphone.
The first official images of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 let us see Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 4 in a new color: Bora Purple. As a reminder, Samsung will soon release a new Galaxy S22 in Bora Purple, as revealed by Samsung Thailand on its official website. Seeing the Korean giant reusing this colorway in its next flagship foldable smartphone is therefore not really a surprise. ;
Apart from the new color, which looks a lot like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Lavenderthe Galaxy Z Flip 4 uses buttons that look slightly bigger. The cameras are also more protruding, which might indicate that Samsung intends to improve the quality of the shots of this new model.
What technical characteristics for the Galaxy Z Flip 4?
As we have seen in previous reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will still use a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. Samsung would, however, increase the size of the external screen, this one increasing from 1.9 inches to 2.1 inches. The smartphone would also benefit from a larger 3700 mAh battery, and two 12 MP cameras on the back.
Either way, Samsung is expected to present its Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 on August 10 alongside the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro smartwatches. After the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung is expected to lift the lid on a special edition of its foldable smartphone, the BeSpoke Edition. This would offer even more customization options compared to the previous year, since customers will have a choice of 49 color combinations. This version would also offer different levels of finish, matte or glossy.
