An official source at the Ministry of Health said that the ministry has formed a committee from the Department of Free Treatment and Medical Licenses; To investigate a doctor’s complaint regarding her son’s treatment at Al Salam International Hospital in Maadi.
A video posted by a doctor named Samar Al-Amraiti, on her Facebook page, sparked a great interaction during the past hours, saying that she had paid 30 thousand pounds to the hospital to treat her sick son, but she was surprised by the nursing staff in the hospital telling her that the doctor who specializes in drawing the brain is not in the hospital and that he traveled on vacation Eid in Ain Sukhna, and that the room in which the EEG machine is located is locked with a key with the doctor in Ain Sukhna, as she said in the circulating video.
The source, who asked not to be named, added in exclusive statements to Masrawy: “Legal procedures were taken in that complaint, and a committee was already formed from the Free Treatment Department, and it is currently in the hospital to examine the complaint.”
He stressed that the committee has been working for regarding three hours, and has not finished its work yet, and if the complaint is proven correct, legal measures will be taken once morest the hospital.
