Intel’s first mobile GPU, called the Arc A370M, mightn’t compete with entry-level chips from other manufacturers. This was shown by the test results that were published on the Hardware Times portal.
The test was carried out in a dozen titles, and in all the A370M showed lower frame rates than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 on the four-year-old Turing architecture and the AMD Radeon RX 6500M. In some cases, the difference is almost twofold, but most often the new product from Intel is 15-20% inferior.
Intel’s full line of mobile chips will include five models, of which the A370M is the least productive following the A350M. More powerful variants, including the flagship A770M, will go on sale in the summer, and laptops with the A370M have already appeared in retail chains.
