The work developed by the fourth year student is the first free access atlas of Latin America, with complementary material in 3D.

Axel Adriel Ortiz is a medical student at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the UNLP who developed The first free human anatomy atlas and with complementary material in 3D, from Latin America. This Tuesday, August 22, the house of higher studies will host the presentation of the work written in three languages, produced by the 23-year-old.

The free access study material, developed by the fourth-year medical student, contains images of cadaveric preparations, detailed drawings and complementary studies to aid understanding of the subject of anatomy.

“What really sets it apart is the integration of full-body 3D anatomical models. This innovative feature allows you to explore structures from different angles, understanding their spatial relationship and distribution”Ortiz explained and detailed: “It’s written in Latin, Spanish and English”.

In addition to training as a health professional at the public university, the young student, a native of the Buenos Aires town of Chivilcoy, is also an ad-honorem assistant in the “C” chair of Anatomy.

His work is established as the first free atlas of Latin America with complementary material in 3Dwhich can be accessed through the website anatotech.com.

The presentation of the book “Atlas of Human Anatomy” will be this Tuesday, August 22 at 12, in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the UNLP, located at 120 and 60.
