In his video, Halk Hogan compares NextGen Edition (as the upgrade is called) with the latest version of HD Reworked Project (12.0) currently available, included in the updated The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from CD Projekt RED itself.

For comparison, Halk Hogan chose the textures of objects on the Skellige Islands: rocks, stone fences, iron sheathing, wooden surfaces, caught fish in a bucket began to look clearer and / or more realistic.

The audience appreciated the work of Halk Hogan at its true worth: for 900 likes, there are only 10 dislikes. User Jeff Eisenhauer thanked modder: “When I thought it mightn’t get any better. Absolutely great job. Thank you for what you do”.

The release of the advanced edition of HD Reworked Project is expected in the second quarter (from April to June). NextGen Edition will be compatible with both the updated (4.0) and past (1.31/1.32) versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
