The first Arabic movie produced by “Netflix”

The new tape will start showing on January 20, knowing that it is the first Arab film produced by the global platform, and it will be available for viewing in 190 countries, and dubbed into 3 languages, with subtitles in 31 languages.

The film extends over an hour and 39 minutes, and revolves around a group of seven friends who meet for dinner and decide to play a game where everyone puts their cell phones on the dinner table, provided that all new messages or calls are in full view of everyone. And soon the game, which was initially fun and interesting, turns into a source for revealing the secrets and scandals of each one of them.

The work, which was initially called “Night Without Daw”, brings together a group of Arab stars for the first time, including the Egyptian Mona Zaki, jordanian Iyad Nassar, the Lebanese Nadine Labaki, George Khabbaz, Adel Karam, Fouad Yammine and Diaman Bou Abboud, directed by Wissam Samira in his first cinematic experience.

“Friends and Dearest” is produced by Front Row Filmed Entertainment, Film Clinic, Empire Entertainment and Yalla Yalla. It is the first film produced by Front Row as part of the partnership agreement signed last year with “Netflix” to produce a selection of Arab films.

The original version of the work was a huge success in Italy, achieving more than 16 million euros at the box office in Italy. Various international versions of the same work were presented in Spain, Mexico, France, South Korea, Greece, China, Russia, Armenia, Turkey, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Poland and Germany, and here is an Arabic version of it coming out soon.
