Al-Marsad newspaper: The mother of the Egyptian young man, Mohamed Adel, who was sentenced to death for the murder of Mansoura student Naira Ashraf, recounted details regarding her son.
Muhammad Adel’s mother said in a video clip: “Muhammad did not keep knives or weapons, and he never held a knife,” noting: “After Naira knew his condition would change, he was resting and sleeping a lot and thinking a lot, I felt that he was running away from life.”
She added that he had received threatening messages from Naira and Naira’s family on his phone, indicating: “I was amazed when I learned what my son had done.”
And she saw: “Certainly he was not conscious,” adding: “If he wanted to do this, he would have done this for a long time, when she would not insult him and reduce him and his dignity in front of his colleague.”
He added, “She used to say, ‘I look like you,’ and she slandered him in front of her colleagues, and they laughed at him.” Regarding what is being raised regarding Muhammad Adel’s drug use, she said: “I am his mother … I am 100% sure that there is not a single drug rate in his body because he has been sitting in front of me all the time and I am confident of this, and a difficult need for me that my son was in front of me and under my eyes now, I do not see him.” .
Regarding the lawyer Farid Al-Deeb’s defense of her son, she stated: “The generosity of our Lord is great, and I say to Professor Farid following our Lord, you are my son’s evangelism… You save a mother who cuts her heart for her son.”
