The captain of the ship has been arrested following a verbal complaint by the Port Authority of Andros, for the unprecedented incident with the car that was found in the air while trying to enter through the hatch.
SAOS FERRIES, which manages the ship, has issued a statement, with which it informs that it will not continue its journey and passengers who had purchased tickets must change them.

“We inform the passenger public that following the Prosecutor’s order for the arrest of the Master of the EG-PG SAONISOS and his compulsory dismissal, the ship cannot continue the execution of its routes.
Passengers who have tickets are requested to contact the issuing agencies and/or local central agencies to redeem them.”
