We’ve been closely following Embark Studios’ projects on Xboxygen for a while now, and the time has come for the first of them. The Finals open beta has just been released on Xbox but there is a problem downloading it. Luckily, we found a trick, we’ll explain how to do it.
How to download THE FINALS beta on Xbox
The Finals beta is complicated to install on Xbox, since the Xbox store currently displays a “Currently unavailable” message when you go to the beta page, whether on the console or on a PC. Same, the beta is simply not found on the Xbox application on PC. But we’ll find a way to make it happen!
Download the Xbox application to your mobile Search for “The Finals” from the search menu Select the beta Select the installation The beta will install on your Xbox console
Please note, for this to work, you must have configured your console so that it can accept being controlled from another device. Here are the steps to follow :
Go to your Xbox console settings Go to “General” Choose “Power options” Choose “Customize power options” Choose “Remote features” Check the “Enable remote features” box Turn off your console completely then restart it
You should then be able to start downloading the beta from the Xbox app on your phone to your console.
THE FINALS wants to revitalize the FPS genre
Officially announced last summer after two years of teasing, the FPS from Embark Studios is about to arrive on your screens. The studio created by Patrick Söderlund, former CEO of the DICE studio and Chief Design Officer at Electronic Arts, will deliver its first game, and it already promises a breakneck pace.
On the program, team fights in destructible virtual arenas with game modes oriented towards extraction. After several closed betas, the last one ending last March, the free FPS is ready to pass into the hands of several thousand players.
THE FINALS beta will be available from October 26 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 as well as on Steam and will end on November 5. It is available in cross-play and progress is kept on your account whether you are on PC or Consoles.
To participate in THE FINALS beta, simply download the game from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Game Store or Steam.

The Open Beta offers 20 weapons, 26 gadgets, and 9 abilities for competitors, as well as improvements to performance, movement, team play, and more.
Arenas available
Stade Skyway (New) — Discover the ever-changing Skyway Stadium, where players can test their limits on this perilous playing field. Monaco – Play on the cobbled streets of Monaco, a perfect map for destruction and close-quarters combat. Seoul – Battle atop the skyscrapers of downtown Seoul with fast-paced, vertical gameplay. Be careful where you step so you don’t fall.
Game Modes
Bank-It (New) — Four teams of three people compete for coins in this casual, combat-focused mode. The team that reaches the maximum limit first, or the team that has the most money in the bank at the end of the round, wins. Unranked tournament — A Cashout mode in which four teams of three players compete to find crates and deposit them into chests, in an unranked tournament format over three rounds and with a total of 24 players. Ranked tournament — A Cashout mode with four teams of three in a ranked tournament format with four rounds and 48 players in total. Quick Cash — A casual variant of Cashout in 3v3v3 format. This mode features longer matches, faster respawn times, shorter fetch times, and only one vault at a time. Training ground — A place where contestants can test weapons, gadgets, moves, and, of course, destroy everything.
Candidate progress
The free Open Beta BattlePass includes 16 exclusive rewards that, if unlocked, will carry over to the full game when it launches. Item progression includes 5 levels of mastery per weapon.
League progression
Five leagues (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond) will include permanent rewards for each tier, as well as an exclusive legendary weapon skin for participants who reach Diamond tier.
