Documentary short film “What the Birds Sing About” received the first place on 10th Internationalm a festivalis young filmmakers 7ème Lune(“Seventh Moon”).

The festival was held April 13-16 in Montreuil, France.

This is a small European festival specializing in young and debut authors.

Since its inception in 2014, 7ème Lune has been committed to identifying young talent, supporting the cinema of tomorrow.

About the film. This is a piercing picture regarding the experience of loneliness by elderly people. Two brothers live in a small village. The only person who takes care of the elder is the younger brother, who every day goes to the center of the village in search of a part-time job. Taking care of each other is the most important thing in the life of both.

The film was created in 2022 as part of a grant support for the production of socially significant content of the Media-K project of Internews in the Kyrgyz Republic.
