This year’s cinema premiere – the film “Monkey Man” – has just appeared on the Prime Video streaming service! The production received a lot of positive opinions and reviews from critics, and its plot sounds very intriguing – such a combination will provide us with great entertainment today or over the coming weekend. What story does the movie “Monkey Man” tell?
“Kid, an anonymous young man, lives a lonely life fighting in an underground club. Every night he puts on a mask and massacres new rivals, and his dream is to avenge his loved ones. After years of suppressing his anger, Kid discovers a way to infiltrate the corrupt urban elite that once took everything from him. Faced with trauma, a man sets out on a path of revenge to settle the score.”
The director, producer and actor of the film is Dev Patel – man orchestra! Apart from him, they became producers Jomon Thomas, Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld oraz Ian Cooperand the cast also includes, among others: Sharlto Copley i Pittobash.
The production received a lot of favorable opinions, which confirms the high level of results 89% positive reviews from critics and 83% of referrals from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. This is a result that guarantees us good entertainment in front of the TV – in our opinion, this production is worth checking out!
The film was not initially supposed to hit the big screen! Only the intervention of one of the producers made Universal Pictures buy the production from the platform Netflix and showed it in cinemas. Now we can watch this movie in the comfort of our own home by paying only for a Prime Video subscription. And this one – we remind you – costs only PLN 49 for the whole year!
