The Trento Economics Festival (from 23 to 26 May) was at the center of a debate yesterday evening at Palazzo Monferrato in Alessandria, in which the director of Sole24Ore, Radio24 and Radiocor and director of the Festival’s scientific committee, Fabio Tamburini dialogued with local entrepreneurs: the CEOs of Paglieri, Debora Paglieri and Fabio Rossello, Vitaliano Maccario of the Pico Maccario wineries and president of the Barbera d’Asti consortium, Angelo Riccoboni, CEO of Riccoboni holding and Gianluca Muzio of Portalupi spa and vice-president of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta of the young people of Ance.
During the evening – which was sold out – moderated by Alberto Marello, director of Il Piccolo, the entrepreneurs raised many issues: in the Trento panels, as director Tamburini answers question by question, everyone will find an answer. Infrastructure is dear to Rossello who raises the issue of the desertification of the territory. Sustainability is at the center of Paglieri’s speech as he explains the program and the opportunities created.
For Riccoboni the challenge is to close the circle and build the plants to dispose of industrial waste. Maccario lists the interventions for climate change and drought and the critical issues of the new labels. For Muzio it is urgent to carry out small and large works to attract resources.
