The Ferris wheel stops, family trapped in the cabin in Bolsena –

The Ferris wheel stops due to an electrical problem: an unexpected event for a Roman family on a trip to Lake Bolsena stuck at the top of the carousel. The firefighters took care of reaching them with the ladder truck and bringing them back to the ground. Due to an electrical malfunction, the Ferris wheel remained stationary and it was not possible for the family – consisting of mother, father, a 7-year-old girl and an 11-year-old – to get down to the ground. The firefighters, thanks to the ladder truck, managed to bring the family to safety. Also on site were the Carabinieri from the Montefiascone company and the technicians to restore the Ferris wheel.

The carousel has become one of the attractions of the volcanic lake, suitable for swimming and among the favorite destinations of nature lovers. To the point that its removal, originally scheduled for this spring, has been postponed.
