the federal government extends the reduction of excise duties on fuels until the end of this year

The measure taken to relieve consumers in the face of soaring energy prices ran in principle until the end of September. The drop amounts to 17.5 cents per liter, which represents around 10 euros on a full tank.

The Minister has repeatedly proposed reducing excise duty on fuel to the European minimum, but the government has so far not agreed to his request.
