The fear exists, but the Vatican has set its sights on Lebanon

The Director of the Catholic Center for Media, Father Abdo Abu Kassem, confirmed that the Vatican is interested in the future of Lebanon.

He said via Voice of Lebanon 100.5: “We all have fears that we are in the wind and the future is not clear, and this situation is the focus of the Vatican’s thinking, which is trying to preserve Lebanon’s identity and entity, which it has worked on since the eighties until today.”

He added: The visit of the Vatican’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Monsignor Richard Paul Gallagher, confirms the preservation of Lebanon’s identity, and this is the main theme within which the visit falls in order to preserve the image of Lebanon with multiple messages, Lebanon of dialogue, and Lebanon of peace.

He concluded by saying: “The fear is there, but the Vatican’s eye is on Lebanon.”
