Paravur ∙ The father collapsed and died following seeing the dispute between the bus staff and his son. Fazaluddin (54) died on the east slope of Chullikal Karivelipadi in Fort Kochi.
The incident took place last night at 7.45 in the Kannankulangara area of Paravur. The police said that there was an argument between the two parties regarding giving sides. Fazaluddin’s son Farhan (20) was driving the car. Farhan’s statement is that when he overtook the ‘Narmada’ bus on the Kozhikode-Vytila route, it hit the mirror of the car.
Then Farhan brought the car in front of the bus and stopped the bus and questioned him. When there was an argument, the bus employee took a knife. Farhan’s hand was cut when he was stopped. Seeing this, Fazaluddin, who was in the car, collapsed. He was rushed to Taluk Hospital but died. The bus crew took the vehicle and passed. The police said that action has been taken to catch the bus.
