The father of the Brussels policeman who disappeared in Rebecq appeals: “Where are you hiding? Our lives have stopped”

On July 5, 2022, the police published a search notice at the request of the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office: “This Tuesday, July 5, 2022, around 10 a.m., Frédéric Gonzalez Moradiellos, a 35-year-old man, left his home located rue du Petit-Bruxelles in Rebecq. He has not since shown himself”.

And since then, despite an organized search, this policeman assigned to the Brussels Capital area has still not been found.

Last night, Anton Gonzalez, her father, posted a plea on Facebook. “Fred, my son, you have been gone for 4 weeks. I have so many questions and I have no answers. I read and reread your last text “Dad I love you”… We miss you so much, mom, dad , your brothers, your children…”

“We’ve been looking for you but we haven’t found you… but where are you hiding? If you might just give us a little sign ‘Dad I’m fine’ or ‘Your son is fine’ or a note, a letter, an SMS… Since July 5, our lives have stopped, but know that we are waiting for you at home day and night. I love you Dad“, writes his father in a Facebook post shared more than 2,000 times.

But where are you hiding? If you might just give us a little sign

“I miss you, Fred. My life is nothing without you”, he concludes just following making a call to Frédéric’s friends and acquaintances.
