Bollywood couple Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s daughter actress Esha Deol has announced divorce from her husband Bharat Takhtani following 12 years of their marriage.
Esha Deol is the daughter of yesteryear popular actress Hema Malini and actor Dharmendra and step sister of actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.
According to Bharat media reports, Esha Deol and her husband said in a statement that ‘We have decided to separate from each other with mutual consent. , respect our privacy.’
Esha Deol was married to businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012, their first daughter Radhya was born in 2017 and their second daughter was born in 2019.
In June last year, Esha celebrated her wedding anniversary, but divorce rumors started between the couple when Bharat Takhtani did not show up at her daughter’s birthday party last year.
In her book ‘Parenting’ published in 2020, the actress revealed that her husband started neglecting her following the birth of their second daughter.
She had written that ‘following the second child I felt that Bharat Takhtani was neglecting me and feeling irritated and not paying attention to me’.
