Al-Marsad newspaper: The family of Kawkab al-Sharq Umm Kulthum came out to respond to what a poet named Nasser Dowidar said and his statements that she was in a relationship with 11 men.

The Egyptian Writers Union had held an evening, entitled The Egyptian Song and the Conscience of a Nation, and during the evening Dowidar said: Ahmed Rami signed with one of the Mawlids, and it is said that Umm Kulthum accompanied 11 men, and it is also said that she married 11 times.
