The family of Toty Flores, a candidate for mayor of La Matanza, was assaulted twice in 48 hours

Hector “Toty” Flores, Councilor for Juntos por el Cambio and candidate for mayor of the Buenos Aires La Matanza party of the Civic Coalition, denounced that his daughters suffered two armed robberies in the last 48 hours in said locality. In this regard, he considered that what happened was not a coincidence.

“Two days ago, at gunpoint, my daughter’s car was robbed and last night, also at gunpoint, they robbed my truck in which my daughters and a collaborator were traveling”Flores denounced via X (ex Twitter) and blamed Governor Axel Kicillof, Mayor Fernando Espinoza and Sergio Berni, PBA Security Minister, and Aníbal Fernández, National Security Minister, for their safety and that of their relatives.

In this regard, the opposition leader emphasized: “Two assaults in the same way, being an opposition candidate IS NOT A CHANCE”. As detailed from the councilor’s environment, one of the robberies occurred in Rafael Castillo, while the other took place in González Catán.

“In The Killing those who steal take over the streets without fear, while those of us who live in fear are the neighbors“, he claimed and concluded: “We demand, once once more, that the Mayor and PBA take concrete actions to end the insecurity and abandonment of those who really live in La Matanza.”

Flores’ complaint was supported by the leadership of the Civic Coalition – ARI and, personally, by its president Maximilian Ferrarowho replied to the text published by the candidate for mayor and added: “My solidarity and support for Toty and the entire team. Enough of mercenaries and violence“.

Likewise, the councilor received the support of several leaders of Together for Change, such as HOracio Rodríguez Larreta, Diego Santilli y Gerardo Morales.
