Probably, since the last Last Chance, I have generally rethought many things and it has become easier to perceive such situations. I used to treat DotA like this: if it doesn’t exist, then I won’t have anything either. In my life I didn’t do anything, I didn’t rest, I just sat and played. Now I have a slightly different mindset: you need to play, but if you already feel bad from public, then it’s better not to crush them with a bad mood and not spoil it for the rest. My attitude towards pockets in official games has also changed.

There are people who give 100% to Dota, but I don’t think I can call myself one of them now. I just try to play and improvise personal skill and team level. I think people who play 24/7 live only in the CIS. In Europe, I’m sure they don’t press the public all the time. This is such a mentality in the CIS: you are dead inside, you sit for days playing, do not eat anything. I used to think that it was necessary, but now I would not say that this is good. But the players from our region are the strongest, so maybe this has its own trick.

Life doesn’t end with a loss or a non-selection on Int: you can lie on tilt for one night, but it makes no sense to drive for a very long time, because it will only go into the red. I’m not a fan of depression. Already. I don’t get hung up on trifles anymore. I just give myself to Dota as much as I can.

In an open letter, gpK~ also spoke regarding the disqualification of BetBoom Team offlaner Ivan Pure~ Moskalenko from The Bali Major 2023. You can read regarding how Skutin survived this moment in the material.
