Forward Evgenii Dadonov will remain with the Vegas Golden Knights following the National Hockey League (NHL) on Wednesday canceled the trade it made with the Anaheim Ducks two days earlier.
As reported by various sources, including Sportsnet network reporter Elliotte Friedman, the Bettman circuit had opened an internal investigation to determine the validity of the trade which was also to send a second-round pick to Anaheim over John Moore and Ryan’s contract. Kesler. However, the NHL considered that Dadonov might not be passed on to the Ducks, who are among a group of 10 teams in which he did not wish to play, under a no-trade clause.
The latter was at the heart of the problem, since the NHL and the Las Vegas organization initially believed that she was disabled and that the hockey player might be passed on to any other team in the league. For the current campaign, Dadonov had to submit by July 1, 2021 a list of 10 clubs he did not want to play for.
