“An enemy: abstention”
During these next nine months, the RN wants to carry out a major field campaign in Gironde. In its bastions (both banks of the estuary) but also in South-Gironde, in the Bordeaux metropolitan area or even in the Arcachon basin. “To win in 2027, we will need to strengthen ourselves in big cities. In fact, we have to go everywhere,” emphasizes Jimmy Bourlieux. This campaign will have to mobilize people, because, believes Grégoire de Fournas, “we have two adversaries, Emmanuel Macron and the technocrats of Brussels, but one enemy: abstention”. Main objective in Gironde: “To succeed for the first time in being in the lead in the European elections, following 2019 when we were only two points behind the Macronist candidate.
