The Data Act applies from September 12, 2025 and aims to regulate the use of and access to data generated by, among other things, connected devices. These networked devices include, for example, refrigerators connected to the Internet via WLAN, modern cars or machines in factories connected to the Internet. These devices generate data during operation, the use of which is intended to be promoted by the Data Act.
