Currently, there are 3.8 million refugees from Ukraine in the EU countries. This was stated by EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson.
According to Johanson, most of the refugees settled in countries neighboring Ukraine. But at least one million people went to other European states.
Now, as noted by the European Commissioner, the number of daily arrivals of Ukrainian refugees to Europe has begun to decline. Earlier, Poland requested additional financial assistance from the United States and the European Union for the accommodation and supply of Ukrainian refugees located on its territory.
