The World of Warcraft: Dragonflight expansion is still a long way off, but we may have gotten a hint about a release date thanks to an upcoming prequel novel. Website Amazon published a book about dragon flight with a release date of November 22.
In the past, prequel novels for World of Warcraft expansions have been released three to four months before the expansion’s actual release.
This suggests that Blizzard is likely planning to release Dragonflight around March 2023. The news is also in good agreement with forum post from a Blizzard Community Manager saying Shadowlands Season 4 is due out later this year.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is set in the Dragon Isles and features a new race of Draktyrs who use their own unique class called the Caster. While no details are given about the novel, it will almost certainly focus on Draktyrs and the Dragon Isles.
Registration for the WoW: Dragonflight beta is now available. It is worth noting that under the sanctions, any purchases in the Blizzard store are not available to residents of the Russian Federation, as well as subscription payments, so it is not known whether the Russians will be able to play the add-on and whether it will be translated into Russian at all.
