The Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) has announced the launch of a citizen consultation, on its digital platform (ouchariko.ma), with Moroccans of the world (MDM).
The launch of this consultation by the ESEC is part of the development of its study on issues relating to MDM, in particular, the formulation of ways and means of preserving and enriching the links uniting them with Morocco. and strengthening their contribution to the country’s development process, in order to gather the perceptions, opinions and suggestions of MDMs on this subject, indicates a press release from the Council.
To this end, the EESC has posted an online questionnaire in seven languages (Arabic, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch), addressed to Moroccans in the World, regardless of their country of birth or residence and apart from other nationalities they may hold, the same source said.
Through this citizen consultation, the ESEC aims to deepen its reflection around several questions, namely: “How to better protect the rights and serve the interests of MDMs abroad and on national territory?” », « how to better involve the MDMs in the success of the national development model? and “how to reduce obstacles and strengthen the active participation and representation of MDMs in the co-construction of public policies that concern them”.
The answers of the participants in the consultation will contribute to enriching the analyzes and the recommendations of the ESEC in favor of the deepening of the ties of belonging, the improvement of the quality of the services of the Kingdom for the attention of this category of citizens and citizens, with a view to strengthening their contribution to the political, economic and development dynamics of Morocco, the statement concludes.
