WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart made history on March 31, 1996 as the headliner of WrestleMania 12 with the Iron Man 60-Minute WWE Title Match, which saw Michaels win the title in overtime. on a final fall. This was Iron Man’s first televised match in WWE history.

The history between Michaels and Hart is filled with controversy, but the WWE legends are on good terms these days. Michaels commented on their current relationship and said they were in a “fantastic place” after years of feuding.
“We saw each other at WrestleMania and it was incredibly nice, and very nice. We’re both in a great place in [ma] life. I think he knows how important it is for us to be where we are. Bret always had a very calming presence around him and he always pats me on the shoulder and says very softly, “We’re good Shawn, we’re good.
