Same causes, same consequences. For the third time since July, S4 – the firm founded and managed by Sir Martin Sorrell, the former big boss of the British giant WPP – has issued a profit warning. This time, the group announced to the financial markets that it would not be able to achieve its profitability objectives in the 2023 financial year.
As a result, the stock price fell sharply on the London market, as during the two previous “profit warnings” of S4. During Thursday’s session, the stock fell by more than 12.14%, bringing the group’s capitalization to less than 400 million euros. That’s a decline of more than 70% over one year.
