The Embassy of Ukraine in the UAE comments on an Emirati academic’s tweet about Johnson’s resignation

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Emirati academic, Abdul Khaliq Abdullah, published a tweet in which he touched on the resignation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Thursday, and shed light on his internal and external record.

The Emirati academic said in his tweet: “Goodbye, Boris Johnson. I am not happy for his resignation. Apart from his personal behavior, his internal political performance was good in the Brexit file and the economy, as well as his record abroad. He was decisive in supporting Ukraine. He was accused of lying and the truth is that there is no politician in Britain and abroad who does not He lies. Why Leaders Lie is worth reading.”

For its part, the Ukrainian embassy in the UAE commented on Abdul-Khaleq Abdullah’s tweet via its account, known on Twitter, saying: “Johnson is a brave leader and a true friend of Ukraine who understands very well that Ukraine’s support is necessary for European partners because Putin hates the luxury, comfort and progress of Europe and wants the destruction and sabotage of the European house with his aggressive, barbaric actions. Thank you Boris Johnson for everything…”

The Ukrainian embassy included a picture in its tweet, which said: “On the photo: inspect destroyed Russian equipment in the Kyiv center.”
