As established by the Provincial Electoral Code, Law No. 9571, “48 hours before the start of the elections” the prohibition that prohibits “public acts of proselytism” of parties, alliances and candidates in the 2023 provincial elections will begin to apply. such reason, From Friday at 8:00 a.m., the electoral ban applies throughout the territory of Córdoba.

According to the law, it is prohibited:
1) The exhibition, deposit and carrying of weapons, even in the latter case to persons authorized to do so by the competent authority, in the places where the elections are held and up to a distance of one hundred meters (100 m) from the perimeter of those , with the exception of police personnel or the armed or security forces assigned to the custody of the premises where the elections are held;
2) The shows in the open air or in closed enclosures, social, cultural, sports events and any other kind of public meeting that does not refer to the electoral act and that is not expressly authorized by the competent authority;
3) The sale of any kind of alcoholic beverages;
4) Offer or deliver by physical or electronic means, facsimiles of Single Ballots of Suffrage, in any of its versions;
5) To voters or groups, the use of flags, currency or other distinctive elements, both physically and virtually;
6) The opening of party organizations within a radius of one hundred meters (100 m) from the place where polling stations are installed. The Electoral Court may order the temporary closure of premises that are in violation of the above provisions. Reception tables should not be installed less than one hundred meters (100 m) from the headquarters where the legal domicile of the political parties, alliances or confederations is located, and
7) To voters or groups, the publication and dissemination by all means, including social networks, of results of exit polls or similar; 8) To voters or groups, the use of social networks to publish information regarding the electoral act that is deliberately unreliable or false.
