The new Egyptian music trio “Tirola” dazzled the German audience in the first artistic performance of the group, which includes three musicians, in the capital, Berlin.

The Egyptian trio, composed of flute player Hani El-Badri, piano Mohamed Essam, and percussion Mohamed Arafa, performed a concert on the stage of Pierre Boulez Hall, on the sidelines of their participation in the “Arab Music Days” festival hosted by the German capital, and organized by the famous Iraqi oud artist Naseer Shamma. The “Tirola” trio took the stage to present a set of musical pieces, in an impressive artistic show of the various maqams of Arab music, which won the admiration of the German public.

Al-Badri said that the team’s name is derived from the French word “Triolet”, which developed in the Egyptian dialect, to the word teriola, and represents a three-tone pattern in the notation of musical notes, which is reflected in the team’s work, which combines authentic Arab values ​​in musical composition, What distinguishes it from deep spirituality, and between the methods of Western composition, foremost of which is the harmonic style and the overlap between different musical sounds.
